Maxine Jean Mcinnis

Maxine Jean Mcinnis, 35, of Houston Texas, passed away on September 24th, 2022.

Maxine was an only child born on August 3rd, 1987, to Lyndel Mcinnis and Maria Paul in Houston, Texas. Maxine graduated high school from A.D. Harris High School, in Panama City, Florida on May 12th, 2005. Maxine was passionate about helping both people as well as animals. She had more recently became very active with different animal rescue endeavors.

Maxine began dating Brandt Steiger in 2012 and they were engaged to be married in 2019.

Maxine loved caring for and nurturing her 3 children. She believed in creating core memories for them. She was an advocate for her mother, Maria, whom she cared for, as well as her oldest son Jayden who is autistic. She was a strong-willed woman and always spoke her mind. Maxine had a green thumb. She enjoyed gardening and growing her exotic plants, such as her beloved Monstera plants.

She is survived in death by her fiancée Brandt Steiger; Her 3 children, Jayden Isaiah Mcinnis 13, Jayceton Brandt Steiger 6, and Brycen Bravery Steiger 3; Her mother, Maria Paul; Siblings, Lyndel Biggs, Elizabeth Biggs; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousin, aunts, uncles and extended family.

Services will be held Wednesday, October 12th, 2022, at Beresford Funeral Service 13501 Alief Clodine Rd. Houston, Texas 77082.  The Visitation will start at Noon with the Memorial Service beginning at 1:00 PM.  A Graveside Service will follow at 3:00 PM at Carmen Nelson Bostick Cemtery.

A Celebration of Life will follow the burial at Waters Edge in El Lago from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for those who would like to gather, talk, and remember Maxine for the amazing, loving, woman she was.
