Michael Dale Moses, Jr. went to be with the Lord at home April 22, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Marcella Lynn Moses and four children and mother: (son) Michael Christopher Moses, wife Mariko Moses and grandchildren Chizuru Moses and Kouichiro Moses; (daughter) Jennifer Kristin Moses and fiancé Matthew Stewart Bush; (daughter) Jordan Lynn Moses; (son) Matthew Aaron Moses and (mother) Coleen Moses.
He was preceded in death by his father Michael Dale Moses, Sr. and brother Adam Barton Moses.
Michael was a loving father and husband, and very active in his children’s and grandchildren’s lives. He
Michael graduated from Lamar Consolidated in 1979, and attended Texas A&M until the death of his father when he came home to Rosenberg to help the family. He eventually received his Masters of Theology, and served the Lord in several capacities including children’s pastoral and church leadership.
He was born in Gainesville, and lived in Louisiana, Denton, Houston and Austin before settling in Rosenberg in 6th grade. As an adult he lived in Tennessee, Alabama, San Antonio and Corpus Christi before moving to Rosenberg. He worked in various industries from ministry, restaurant management and sales. His last venture was as a founding partner and Operations Manager in LVC Technologies, a fire alarm company based in Rosenberg.
He was a man of faith, and would listen for God’s word to move on it. We will miss Mike in our lives, but we rest in the assurance that he is with God.
A Memorial Service will be officiated by Pastor Matt Barnhill on Tuesday April 26th at 10:00AM at River Pointe Church (5000 Ransom Rd, Richmond, TX 77469).
