On April 20, 2024, Nancy Taylor Driskill passed away after complications from an extended illness. Born on July 13, 1944, Nancy was 79 years old.
Known to her family as “Granny”, one of her greatest joys was the recent birth of her great grandson, Samuel Joe Brown. Nancy loved painting, crafts, playing the slots, growing plants and most of all, loving and doting over her children and family. She had a sweet soul and will be dearly missed by all of her loved ones and friends.
Nancy is survived by her brother, Lynn Taylor; daughter, Julie Kunz and husband Marty; son, Damon Bridges and his fiancé’ Elaine; daughter, Pam Blacklock and husband Lloyd; daughter, Christy Gibbs and husband Jerry; and daughter, Susan White; 14 grandchildren, and numerous and beloved great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Driskill and her beloved daughter Gayla Driskill.
A Memorial Service celebrating Nancy’s life will be held this Friday, April 26, 2024 at the chapel of Beresford Funeral Service (13501 Alief Clodine Road, Houston, Texas 77082). Visitation will be from 12:00pm-1:00pm with the Memorial Service immediately following the visitation.
The family asks that all attending the service wear loud, bright clothing in honor of and to reflect Nancy’s preferred wardrobe and personality.
