Nicolas Hernandez

Nicolas “Nico” Hernandez, age 60, passed away in his home, surrounded by the family he loved so deeply. Nico was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, and a man whose strength and hard work built the foundation of his family’s life.

Born in Michoacán, Mexico, he is one of 7 Siblings. Nico came to the United States as a young man, chasing the promise of the American dream. With courage, determination, and an unshakable work ethic, he built a new life from the ground up. Everything he accomplished was driven by love for his family, for the opportunities he created, and for the lives he worked so hard to provide for.
He was never afraid of hard work — in fact, he took pride in it. Every long day, every sacrifice, every challenge he faced was driven by love for his wife and children. Providing for his family wasn’t just a duty for him; it was his greatest joy and the way he showed his endless devotion.

Nico is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Ramirez, and his children: Lourdes Ramirez, Diocelina Moreno, Nicolas Hernandez Jr. Kimberly Hernandez and Kate Hernandez. He also leaves behind his loving siblings Mari Paz Hernandez, Romana Hernandez, Juvenal Hernandez, Roberto Hernandez, Marcos Hernandez, and Virgilio Hernandez as well as his cherished grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

Your family will miss you every day, but your laughter, humbling kindness, and love will stay with us always. We will cherish the beautiful memories we shared, holding them close to our hearts. You may be gone from our sight, but you will always be near in the love that we all continue to share.

Services will be held at Beresford Funeral Service with the Visitation starting at 10am and the Funeral Service beginning at 12pm.  Burial will follow at 1:30pm at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
