Panna Moubark

Panna Moubark passed away at the age of 76 after battling Alzheimer’s disease on March 17, 2026 in Chicago, Illinois. She was born on February 15, 1950 in Iraq to Aziz Ishaq and Khana Sinjo. 

She was married to Elias Moubark in Chicago, Illinois in November 1979. Elias and Panna moved to Houston, TX in 1983 and started a life of their own, having three children. Panna was a homemaker and took pride in her home. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining guests, and partook in church festivities. She was a kind, hard working and loving mother who always put her family first.  

She is survived by her children, Robert Moubark of Chicago, Illinois, Mary Moubark of Stafford, Texas, and Emiel Moubark of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Addyson Ahrendt and Kayden Ahrendt of Stafford, Texas; her brothers and sisters, Sulteh Simon, Lucy Tuma, Wilson Ishaq and Raymond Ishaq of Chicago, Illinois; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Elias Moubark; her parents, Aziz Ishaq and Khana Ishaq; and her brother, George Ishaq.

Burial Services will be held at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery (1101 Antoine Rd. Houston, Texas 77055) at 12 noon on March 24, 2026.
