Helpful, cheerful, calm, and a nice guy are just some of the ways to describe Phillip. He helped me lead a Cub Scout Den. What he did not know how to do, he would enjoy trying to learn or at least assisting others in doing. Phillip never worried about doing his fair share, rather he did as much as he could. Yes he could tell a great story, but he was equally good at listening to a story and allowing others to shine. I continue to smile at some of the things he said and did and the leadership he offered our Den. My condolences to his family, he was proud of you all.

Mrs. Eastabrooks,
It was with shock and sorrow that I learned today of Phil's passing. I cannot think of him without remembering that big ear-to-ear grin.
His heart was full of love and compassion and was twice his size;
Phil was my friend of 44 years, and whether we saw each other often or once in 10 years, it was always as though we had parted yesterday.
I will miss him always.
Billy

Dear Dorothy,

I am so saddened by the loss of my dear cousin Phillip. I remember when I was a little girl you & Earl would come to Texas for a visit with my little cousins, I always admired how well behaved your children were & how adorable they were. I have had the priveledge to watch Phillip & Tana both grow into such wonderful people. You're loss is all our loss, you & Tara are in my thoughts & prayers...

All my love, Sandra

Mrs. Eastabrooks & Tana

I was saddened to hear that Phillip had passed. I have many memories of him when we were stationed at Pease. He will be remembered fondly. Love to both of you.
