I want to give my condolences to the Shelton family and all that was connected to Richard Shelton. I had come to know Richard back in the year of 2010, where we were doing genealogy research together. he had always been forthcoming with us in any questions that we needed answered without wavering. I never got to meet Richard personally, but you would’ve thought we had known each other all my life. He spoke highly of his family, and he was very loving, kind, and very respectful in everything that he done in life that I knew of him to do. my second oldest sister had a privilege of meeting him. They’re in Texas, she stayed with him on a short visit and she spoke very well of him when she and I talked after her, leaving his place there in Texas. I want to give my condolences and well heartfelt blessings to the entire family. I know that this is late in expressing my condolences, I did not know that he had passed on. I was just thinking about him on his birthday today, October 7 and I sent him a birthday shout on Facebook, not knowing that he was deceased. as I was laying down just a little bit ago, it just prompt in my spirit to see if he had passed on and this is what I come to, and found that he had passed on to be in the arms of Jesus. I pray that the remainder of the family that is still left here on earth will truly seek after the Lord because death is appointed to each and every one of us, and after that is the judgment. I pray that if you have parents still out there, treat them right and love them because when we were smaller, our parents dedicated the whole entire life to make sure that we were well taken care of. I prayed that the legacy of Richard‘s love will over exceed his life here on earth because of the compassion, the empathy that he had towards all mankind. to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord. (2 Corinthians 5:8). And Precious in the sight of the Lord are the death of his saints (Psalm 166:15)
