To the best neighbor anyone could ask for, a guy with a heart of gold. You will be missed but we know you are truly home and at peace now.

Robert Evans Bennett Sr. passed away on April 02, 2013. He was born on April 18, 1945.
He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Russum; his brother, Phillip Bennett; sisters-in-law, Karen Duncan, and Joanie Norman; his daughter, Karen Heisserer; his son, Robert E. Bennett Jr., Joseph (Judd) Furby, and Aaron Bennett; niece, Whitney Garcia; and his grandchildren, Zach, Amanda, Haley, Haden, Saharah, Austin, Alexis, Nathan, Heather and William.
He is preceded by his father: William Gaines Bennett and Mother, Edna Mae Evans; by his wife, Lynn Bennett; and siblings,John “Dennis”, James ”Jim”, William “Billy”, and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Strickland.
Visitation & Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 10am & 12pm in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service (13501 Alief Clodine Rd, Houston, TX 77082, 281-933-9090)
Burial will commence at 2:30pm at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial, Houston, TX 77038, 281-447-8686)
Philippians 4:4-9 Rejoice in the Lord always. I say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally brothers whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me-put into practice. And the peace of God will be with you.
