Tammie Earl Mayfield
Tammie Earl Donald Mayfield was born on March 9, 1973 to Mary Edna Donald of Quitman, Mississippi. Tammie was full of life and always smiling. She was never known to be a sad person. She was always a positive person and she loved God with her whole heart. Tammie departed this life at her home on Monday, July 5, 2020 She is preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Johnson, her grandfather, Walter Donald, her grandmother, Edna Earl Donald Phillips and her aunt, Lillie Mae Thomas.
Tammie confessed her life to Christ at an early age and held on to her faith in God throughout her life. She moved with her mom and siblings to Houston Tx in thelate 70’s. She attended C. E. King High School in Houston and graduated on May 28, 1993. Tammie united in Holy Matrimony to Harold Mayfield in 1998 and to this union one son was born, Tyrique Mayfield. She loved to sing praises unto God and was a member of the singing group, Carnel Davis & Incorporated to Praise.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two devoted daughters, Ty’Kara Jackson and Ty’Kia Evans, both of Houston, TX; one devoted son, Tyrique Mayfield of Houston TX; one grandson, Zachariah Evans of Houston Tx; her loving mother, Mary Edna Harris of Houston Tx; one sister, Christina (Thomas) Williams of Houston, Tx; two brothers, Arthur James Johnson and Jason Johnson, both of Houston TX; five nieces, Quintina Owens, Kiana Donald, Katrina Donald, LeAndria Noble and Arianya Johnson, all of Houston TX; three nephews, Chris Johnson, Anthony Johnson and Isaiah Johnson, all of Houston TX; six uncles, Jessie Donald of Houston, TX, Walter Donald Jr, Franklin Donald and Charles Donald, all of Jacksonville FL, Hartis (Laura) Donald of Stonewall, MS and Channie (Joyce) Donald of Meridian, MS; six aunts, Helen (John) Russell of Suwanee GA, Gloria Cooper of Norcross, GA, Dora McLaughlin of Shubuta, MS, Lois Donald of Quitman, MS, Norine Phillips of Sumter, SC and Lora Stone of Meridian, MS; her three "Nana Babies" Dre, Lindan and Logan and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
