To the Kirkpatrick family,

We are truly sorry for your loss but please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Teresa was a wonderful person to work with and for me personally, she was a great help to me in doing my own job. She always had a smile on her face, ready to help out in any way that she could, and very welcoming! She's been missed here since she went home to you in June and even in her absence, the shock and sadness that rippled through the Consulate with Lianna's email is a testament to the kind of person that we all knew and worked with. She will be dearly missed!

Our deepest condolences,
Janessa and Dominick LoGalbo

Teresa and I started our new jobs and we went through training together. I didn't know her well since her traveling and adventures started quickly, but I did know her well enough to know she was a very special and wonderful person. Several of us from that class got together this week and remembered her fondly as the smart one with the beautiful smile.
We are so sorry for your loss and hope you know she will be missed by a number of friends she left behind.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Teresa in Houston and was very pleased to see her in Washington, DC a few months later. I did not get to see her often because of her many opportunities, but knew that she was very happy and was doing a great job. God bless your family.
