Verda Virginia Friedman Markovich, native Houstonian born December 21,1924 at Methodist Hospital and long time resident of Manor Care in Webster was called home to Our Lord on February 1, 2007 at age 82. Loving wife, mother and home maker, she was predeceased by husband, Velemir and son Gregory Michael. She is survived by daughter, Mary Beth Markovich, sons, Mark Albin and Jay Allen Markovich, and sister, Adele G. Martin. Memorial services will be held at Clear Lake United Methodist Church in the chapel on Monday, February 5, at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Sierra Club.
