In Memory of
Barbara Ann Hall
-

Barbara Ann (Wafer) Hall, 64, of Houston, Texas, passed away on February 11, 2026.

Barbara was born on November 28, 1961, in Los Angeles, California. As the daughter of a United States Army career serviceman, she experienced a childhood filled with travel and adventure. She lived in California, Maryland, Alabama, Panama City, Panama, and Bogotá, Colombia, before her family ultimately settled in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Jersey Village High School in 1979.

Barbara dedicated over 20 years of her life to serving others as a Medical Assistant, earning the respect of colleagues and the gratitude of those she cared for. She was known for her compassion, warmth, and steady presence - qualities that extended far beyond her profession and into every part of her life.

She was affiliated with First Houston United Methodist Church and carried her faith with her, even in seasons when she was unable to attend regularly.

Above all, Barbara was devoted to her family. She was beautiful, strong, and deeply cherished by those who knew and loved her. She was a devoted wife to Raymond, a loving mother to Shaun, Brett, and Tarah, and one of her greatest joys was being “Grandma” to Noah, Aubree, Carter, and Luke.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Raymond Roy Hall; her children, Shaun Hall, Brett Hall, and Tarah Hall; her mother, Barbara Ann Wafer; and her siblings, Bill Wafer, Melissa Besselman, and Sandy Patterson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lt. Col. William Joseph Wafer, U.S. Army (Ret.)

Barbara loved to travel, a passion that began in her childhood and remained with her throughout her life. Whether near or far, she treasured time spent with family and created lasting memories wherever she went.

She will be remembered for her strength, her love, her resilience, and the unwavering devotion she showed to those closest to her. Her presence was a gift, and she will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Beresford Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026, with visitation at 11:00 AM and the service at 12:00 PM at West Houston Church of Christ. Burial will follow at 2:15 PM at The Houston National Cemetery.

Barbara’s legacy lives on in the family she loved so fiercely.

Flowers are welcome.
