Trevor George Kabele

Trevor George Kabele, of Houston, Texas, passed away at the age of 19 on August 19, 2026, in Houston, Texas. He was born on January 5, 2007, in Pasadena, California to Charles Kabele and Heather Kabele.

Trevor was a rising sophomore at Ole Miss, where he was studying accounting and had been named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll his freshman year. He was an Eagle Scout, having completed his Eagle Scout service project for Memorial Lutheran School. He loved basketball, chess, hanging with friends, watching Survivor with his parents, and debating his siblings on the topic of the day. He loved to eat though you would never know it given his thin frame. A favorite was mom's corn casserole.

He is survived by his parents, Charles & Heather Kabele; twin sister, Sophie Kabele; brother, Chase Kabele; grandparents, Tom & Jean Kabele and Opal Spragg; and numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, William Spragg. 

Services will be held on August 25, 2026, at Memorial Lutheran Church, 5800 Westheimer Rd. in Houston, Texas. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the Funeral will begin at 12:00 p.m. Officiated by Pastor Ned Moerbe. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
