Today if you ask anyone whose life has been touched by Betty, you would hear the following: “She was what the Bible defines in Proverbs 31 as a wife of Noble Character. She was a Godly helpmate, prayer warrior, gracious host, and an encourager. Her husband had full confidence in her. She brought him good, not harm, all the days of her life. She got up while it was still dark and provided food for her family. She set about her work vigorously and unselfishly. She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. She was clothed in strength and dignity and could even laugh at the days to come. She spoke with wisdom and faithful instruction. She watched over the affairs of her household. Her five children, thirteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren arose and called her blessed as well as her husband. And the Lord rewarded her with Joy for her compassion, faithfulness, and character.”

We are so sorry for the loss of your dear wife and precious mother. Betty was always a gracious hostess and welcomed us in such a loving way. She was an excellent cook too! She was devoted to her family and what an influence she made. She was a wonderful role model of a godly wife, mother, and woman. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, especially through her children and grandchildren. She was an inspiration to me and to others. We will miss her but will always remember her sweetness. May the Lord give you strength as you face the days ahead and the void you have in your hearts. You are in our prayers.

Much love,
Jane & Jerry

Dear Karen and Family,

How my heart hurts for the grief you are experiencing but how I rejoice with you knowing that your mother is home with Jesus and receiving her Heavenly reward. Praise God for His promise of eternal life awarded to those who love His son, Jesus.
I remember Mrs. Collins so fondly from the few times I met her in high school. When I saw her recently, she was just as beautiful and gracious as I recalled.

Hold fast to the Lord and to one another during this difficult time. Knowing that this is "so long for a while" and not "good-bye" will sustain you in the days, weeks and years to come.

May the God of all wisdom and grace fill you with His Holy Spirit to comfort you and guide you all the days of your life. May you cling to His promise of Hope which is found in knowing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The faith you have in El Shaddai, the God who is sufficient, will see you through.
God's blessings on you all.
Much love and prayers,
Roxanne Schneider Worsham

Your sweet Betty (wife/sweetheart, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, & friend) touched our lives as she did many others with her sweet, loving, caring Christlike hands & heart. What a beautiful reflection of her Lord she was as she allowed Him to live through her. You are all in our prayers as you walk through this very hard time adjusting to her physical absence. We know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, yet we know you will miss her so very much.
Love in Christ,
