In Memory of
Bob Frederick
-

Robert Wayne Frederick, an Army Veteran with the 101st Airborne, parted our lives at age 66 on Mother’s Day, May 14, 2017, at Hermann Memorial Medical Center due to a motorcycle accident in Houston, TX.

Robert served two tours of duty during the Vietnam War, where he earned the following medals: National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with PALM, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, and Air Medal with Valor.   His love besides his family was getting on his motorcycle and feeling the wind on his face.  He rode with the Patriot Guard for a time in honor of his brothers and sisters in arms and with a number of other riders to benefit our veterans, children, and community.

Robert is survived by his wife Ann Frederick, Mother Mildred B. Frederick; his daughter Amberly and husband Dennis Huntley; his daughter Aimee and husband Rick Jimenez, and son Tyler Frederick. His sister Sandra E. Griffin; his brother Paul Frederick, and his brother Adam Frederick.  He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Kyrsti, Gabrille, Jonathon, Kyrie, Richard Jr., and Rachel.  Robert was blessed with 10 great grandchildren as well as many loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations are made to the Chad O Foundation (Cpl. Chad Eric Oligschlaeger) that helps his Brothers and Sisters in arms who are suffering with PTSD.  Chad O helps Veterans heal from the trauma of war through methods that do not require medication with a huge success rate.  They have saved numerous Veterans from taking their own lives.  Chad’s mother and father have successfully created this foundation in honor of their son who overdosed from meds prescribed to battle PTSD.  Chad’s Story and more information are on their website http://cplchado.org/

A visitation will be held at Beresford Funeral Service on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 11-1 with the funeral service starting at 1PM. A graveside service will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.

Charitable Donations may be made to:
