In Memory of
Brenda Joyce Wagoner
-

Brenda Wagoner was born in Georgetown, Kentucky on July 19, 1953, daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret Wagoner. After a long illness, she passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at the age of 67. She resided in Kentucky until 1992 at which point she moved to Houston, Texas until her retirement and untimely death.

Brenda had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very young age. She lived her life according to His will. This gave Brenda strength in humor and wit that accompanied her giving personality.

Brenda was a very loyal University of Kentucky Wildcats fan and watched all their games, especially basketball. Brenda had many talents to include cooking down-home meals, sewing, ceramics, and love for her career at tax preparation. She was also an excellent seamstress that included making wedding gowns, little girls' dresses, Christmas stockings, blankets, and more. Her abilities identified her as one who loved and cared much for others. This gift shall surely be missed.

She was employed by H&R Block for over 30 years and was very well respected in her industry. She earned and held several titles to include Manager, Tax Instructor, Audit Representative and other such designations and positions of honor. Brenda was passionate about helping her clients. As a Christian, she was very good at counseling them on the legal do's and don'ts and did it with much love.

Her spare time showed enjoyment for reading, games, watching movies and spending time with her family. She also had a love for her pet cats and dogs to mention Shalamar, Calliemarie and Tippy.

Brenda is survived by her siblings Danny (Mary) Wagoner, Patricia "Kathy" Wagoner, Peggy (Johnny) Cory and Nancy Wagoner, by her nieces Tara Hayes and Amy Cory, nephew John "Trey" (Debbie) Anderson, and great-nieces Sidney Anderson and Ashlyn Joan Hayes, and great-nephews Wilson "Wil" Anderson, Dylan Hayes and Cody Hayes, as well as many cousins.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 11 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Southwinds Baptist Church, 16811 FM 2920, Tomball, TX 77377. Graveside Burial to be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Georgetown, KY at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to your favorite charity in her memory.
