Brittany Michelle O'Connor of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, November 28, 2022.

She was born on October 15, 1982, in Houston, Texas to Mickey and Diane O'Connor.

She attended Jersey Village High School and the University of Houston and was a competitive cheerleader for both schools.  She also cheered for the Houston Aeros Ice Hockey team.

Brittany worked for HDR Engineering for many years.  She was currently employed at Texas Department of Transportation.  

She loved trying new foods and cooking with friends and family.  She was becoming quite a cook following in her mother's footsteps.  

Her big, fun-loving personality and beautiful smile brightened the world, and not a day will go by that we won't think about her and miss her.

Brittany is survived by her parents, Mickey and Diane, her brother and sister-in-law, Bryan and Kim O'Connor and nephew, Bryce O'Connor, to whom she was lovingly known as "Yay Yay". She had many aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was known to many of her friends as "Lil' BOC".

She joins God in heaven as a beautiful angel just like she was here on earth.  A beautiful soul gone too soon.

A celebration of Brittany's life will take place at a later date.

I remember meeting Brittany for the first time, and her smile matched her personality. It didn't take long for her and I to become really good friends. We immediately clicked on our love of the television show "The Office". My life was blessed with her sending me quotes, and pictures from the show, everyday getting to share a laugh with one another. Finding it difficult to believe you're gone. Gone to soon. Farewell, my dear friend.

Heart broken that you are gone but happy that you dont have to deal with MS anymore cause i know how much you hated it and felt embarrassed about it.
