Doris Tait

Doris Noeleen Tait, 89, passed away on July 10, 2016 in Houston, Texas. She was born on December 28, 1926 in Bombay, India, to John Clough Green and Constance Grace (Williams) Green.

She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, William Tait, in 2014; her two beloved daughters, Margaret Ann Hicks & Jennifer Tait-Knight; her sisters, Joy Millicent Nettleton, and Margaret (Peggy) Elliot; and her parents.

She is survived by her son, John Tait & wife Denise; grandchildren, William Tait, Barbara Tait, Hilary Tait, and John Hicks; her brother, Hector Clough Green; her sisters, Hazel Brotherston, and Elsie Ernestine Ross; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service beginning with the visitation and viewing from 12 noon to 2 pm, and the funeral service at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
