Mr. Caples is survived by his wife June Caples of Porter, Texas, son Larry Caples of Huffman, Texas, daughter Babs Granberry of Splendora, Texas, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Caples were held August 22, 2006 at the New Life Baptist Church in Plum Grove, Texas with Pastor Billy Hensarling bringing the message.
