Kathleen Elizabeth Burgess passed away peacefully at home on August 15, 2021, at the age of 84. She is survived by her sister, Marie Koester and husband Kit, by her 3 children, Diane Garrett and husband Greg, Ron Mueller and wife Michelle, and Mike Mueller and wife Mari, by her 8 grandchildren, Erin Leshikar, Kasey Langhofer, Lauryn Koening, Chelsey Koening, Brian Bohannan, Krista Ostermann, Emma Mueller, and Krista Mueller, and by her 4 great-grandchildren, Grayson, Blake, Kylie, and Nora. Kathleen was born in Houston and grew up in the Heights, and attended Immanuel Lutheran School and Church, and Reagan High School. She was a stay-at-home mother when her children were small, and later worked as a real estate broker, selling homes in the northwest area of Houston. During her life, she enjoyed traveling, square dancing, gardening, sewing, and many other hobbies. She was especially gifted at quilting, and she created many beautiful quilts. She is preceded in death by her parents Annie and Bill Dietrich.

Well, congratulations Kathleen! You and Frank meet again, now in Heaven. How awesome. What a good friend, neighbor and Christian you were. Our lives have been especially touched by your many decades of goodness. May you rest in HIS eternal peace and may we plan to meet again in our futures. Much love to all your earthly family.
