Louis Ray Martin

Louis Ray Martin, 53, passed away on August 31, 2014. He was born on October 14, 1960 in Houston, Texas.

He is survived by his sons, Ernie Ray Martin & wife Laura Lynn Martin, Lewis Ray Martin, Jr.; granddaughters, Adreanna Lynn Martin, Cheyann Nicole Martin; his brother, Tommy Thomas Martin; his sisters, Glenda ann Kirkpatrick, Arnetta Martin, Florence Walthall & husband Ronny; his niece, Sonya Marie Jolly and her children: Kendall Rae Williamson and Zachary Aaron Lovelace; his nephew, Daniel Blake Martin and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his twin sister: Linda Kay Shellenberger; his sister, Sherrell Holt; his brother, Patrick Martin; his baby brother, Darrell Martin; and his parents, Thomas Martin Jr and Sybil Louise (Thames) Martin.

Services will be held in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service with the visitation on Thursday, Sept 4, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm, and the funeral on Friday, Sept 5 at noon. Interment will take place at Resthaven Cemetery.
