In Memory of
Lydia Janine Christopher
-

Our dear Lydia gained her angel wings on October 13, 2025. She was a loving Mother, Daughter, Sister, Niece, Cousin, and Best Friend to many. She was the epitome of the adage, “If you want to have a friend, be one”. She always made time for anyone in need.

She was full of life and loved every second of it! She was a gorgeous, energetic, courageous, compassionate, adventurous, and loving soul. She always loved nature, and motherhood was her favorite chapter in life. Her daughters were her everything and her entire world!

Lydia was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in Tallmadge, Ohio. She attended Marietta College and graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. In 2016, she turned her passion into her career. She started her own photography business, Lily June Photography. She loved capturing the moments of joy, love and new beginnings with all her clients. She always knew the fun and silly things to do and say to bring pure happiness to their faces and capture the most stunning and cherished pictures!

She brought so much positivity, excitement, and liveliness to every moment you were with her. She was, and always will be, a beacon of light, peace and happiness in all of our hearts.

Lydia is survived by her two daughters Eva and Aria, her mother, Darla Christopher, her brother, Sean Christopher and his wife, Lauren, and nephews, Tyler, Jackson and Remy, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She has joined others in heaven who have passed before her: Her maternal grandparents Beverly and William Robbins, her paternal grandparents, Norma Jean (Christopher) Regan and Gene Wilson Christopher, and Father, Mark Christopher.

A memorial service will be held at Beresford Funeral Service, 13501 Alief Clodine Road, Houston, TX 77082 on November 5, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Sincere condolences to the family. I am so very sorry for your loss. May God provide the necessary peace and comfort to your family and friends during this difficult time. Please remember these words of encouragement from the Bible: “Jesus plainly told her: I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” —John 11:20-25. JW.org
