In Memory of
Madeliene Dianna Johnson
-

Madeliene Dianna Johnson, 12, passed away on July 26, 2012. She was born on August 19, 1999 in Houston, TX.

She is survived by her parents, Stephen Casey Johnson and Pearlette Hicks Johnson; siblings Krystle Pearl Johnson, Sjon Trent Johnson, Ian Stephen Johnson and Maegen Alexandria Johnson; grandparents, Stephen Morgan Johnson, Thelma Luella Johnson and Pearl Jean Hicks. Madeliene passed away with her sister, Tristen Luella Johnson, on the same day.

Madeliene was our exuberant “Texas” child who loved to experience any number of things. Some of her favorites were cheerleading, loving animals, sewing with grandma, cooking, and even long distance running. She was full of energy and was not afraid to speak with anyone, regardless if they paid attention.

Madeliene was very involved in her church, and was serving in a youth leadership position at the time of her passing. She was on track to earn her Young Women’s Recognition award. Prior to her passing she participated in her first youth summer play, acting and singing. She had a firm testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and loved to share that with all who would listen. She constantly wanted to be the one to give the Family Home Evening lessons, which the family has held each week on Monday night.

Madeliene was a wonderful, compassionate daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

I had the privilege of working with Madeleine when she was attending Oyster Creek Elementary where I was librarian through the 2010 school year.
She always had a smile on her face and was so sweet and respectful. I will never forget the wonderful Johnson family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Maddie was a friend of our daughter, Macy. We will all miss seeing her around the neighborhood. I know she has traveled well with her sister into the heavens above.

Although we did not know Maddy or Tristen, we knew your love for her and all the rest of your family. We are so sorry for your loss.
