Nettie Lee Heard Powell was born in Dallas, Texas on August 23, 1951 and passed away in Houston, Texas on January 8, 2019.
She is survived by her sons, Raymond Hebert Jr., Robert Hebert, and Benny Hebert; her daughter, Tina Hebert-Hayes; her grandchildren, Willissa Hebert, Ayrialle Hebert, Raelynn Hebert, Arri Hebert, Raymond Hebert, Autumn Hebert, Kaleb Hebert, and Haylee Cook; great -gandchild, Kadeince Raymond Roberts-Hebert; her brother, Dale McMillian; and her sister, Marlene Pond.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Douglas Powell; and her parents, Benjamin Carven Heard and Mary Francis Sylvester.
A graveside service will be held at Houston National Cemetery on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10:00AM.
