It is with total submission to the will of God that we write the biography of our dearly beloved father, brother, cousin, friend:
Late Oluwatoyin Olusola Oluyemi.
Toyin was born on Feb 23,1970 into the family of Pa Johnson Oluyemi, hailing from Erèdo in Epe Omu, Ogun State. He was the third of five siblings.
He began his formal education in 1978 at Saint Paul Primary School in Ogun State. He went to high school and college in Lagos State.
He was a member of MFM in Nigeria and continued after he relocated to the United States. He loved
God in his own way and loved his family.
To those who knew him, he was a quiet and peaceful man. He was very simple, hardworking and domesticated. He did not defer or neglect any good or kindness he could render to people. He believed in doing good.
Toyin fell sick and visited the hospital as usual. He fought a good fight and left a legacy. We are hurting but cannot question God. The truth is that death is a transition, but it came as a big shock to the family. Words cannot express how we feel. It is said that "Good people die, but their memories live on". He lives behind a family who loves him dearly. May his gentle soul find rest in his maker.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, December 18, 2025 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service. Visitation begins at 10:00 am and the funeral at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery (12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077).
