Pat Beets

Pat Beets, also known to many as Aunt Pat, devoted her life to our four legged family members. She owned Aunt Pat’s Boarding and Grooming for many years, and she had a huge following due to the sweet love that she extended to our dogs and cats. After she “retired”, many of her former clients tracked her down and asked her to continue to love their animals at her home.

Pat had a gentle nature; never judgmental; always accepting of people around her. She did not have any family left, so she managed to choose her extended family who would surround her for the rest of her life. Many of those included in the extended family were with her as you struggled through her illness….some of which were with her as she took her last breath.

Pat cultivated friends throughout the world via some of her animal cyber-networks. These were folks who she never met face to face, yet they had an incredibly strong inter-connection. They have watched over her during her illness…and mourned over her passing.

Pat will be missed by many. A woman of faith; a sweet gentle soul. There’s no doubt that when she approached the Pearly Gates of Heaven….there were not only human family members waiting for her….but a menagerie of wagging tails so happy to be back in the arms of Aunt Pat.
