Pedro S. Pesquera, of Houston, Texas passed away at the age of eighty-six on June 7, 2020 in Houston, Texas. He was born on April 20, 1934 in Mexico City, Mexico to Luis Pesquera and Maria née Sarmiento. Pedro was married to his high school sweetheart Bertha and in their sixty-five year long marriage raised four children, enjoyed eight grandchildren, adored two great-grandchildren and joyfully awaited a third.
He is survived by his loving wife Bertha, children Israel and wife Jannelle Pesquera; Ligia Pesquera Leismer; Ezequiel Pesquera; Eleazar Pesquera. Grandchildren Sarah
Services will be held on Wednesday June 10th, 2020 at Beresford Funeral Service 13501 Alief-Clodine, Houston, TX 77082. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Please be aware that a maximum of 20 people will be allowed in the building; no more than 20 cars in the parking lot; and we ask everyone attending wear a mask and adhere to the to the CDC physical distancing guidelines. Burial will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079, at 11:30 am. We ask everyone attending wear a mask, and adhere to the CDC physical distancing guidelines. The outdoor gravesite gathering will be limited to 40 people or less.

Pete was a wonderful Abuelo to Noah and a wonderful friend to us both. Deanna will always remember how he prayed for her after giving birth in the hospital. Andy will always remember how Pete prayed over him in Spanish before driving back to Kansas. We will miss him dearly. Rest in peace now Pete. We love you.
