Phuong Kim Nguyen, 72, passed away on March 1, 2021. She is survived by her four children - Vu Nguyen, Bang Nguyen, Jane Trang Nguyen-Campo, Jimmy Nguyen, and her grandson, Ronin Nguyen.
Phuong was born in Cái Bè, Vietnam. She was a school teacher in her hometown of Cái Bè when she met her husband, Mai Nguyen, during the Vietnam War. Phuong
Phuong was a strong and confident woman who embodied the spirit of the American Dream. She worked at Texas Instruments in Houston for several years before becoming a successful small business owner. This enabled all four of her children to attend college and lead happy, productive lives. She had a gift for cooking and gardening. She enjoyed experimenting with different recipes and cooking savory meals for her family. She also loved animals - especially her tiny Chihuahua, Chanel.
Phuong will be missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to The National Brain Tumor Society.
