Princess Pat Bridwell, 71, passed away at her home in Hockley, Texas on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 among family. She was born in Houston on March 10, 1941 to Cecil and Carmen Bostick.
She was the owner of the cemetery where she will be laid to rest, named after her mother, Carmen Nelson Bostick Historic Cemetery.
She is survived by her four sons, James Pinkston, James Mitchell & wife Mariah, Robert Alford & wife Ruth, and Richard Gamel & wife Darla; her brother, Deane E. Bostick; and her grandchildren, Holly Alford, Andrew Alford, Nora Alford, and Savonnah Mitchell.
She is preceded by her mother, Carmen Nelson Bostick, and her husband, Billy Ray Berry.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Carmen Nelson Bostick Historic Cemetery.

A Heart of Gold! Princess was a great lady and a great friend. She has helped hundreds of others in her lifetime. I will never forget the many conversations with her. I'm glad she will be laid to rest in her beautiful cemetery that she loved so much.
My Mom was an amazing person. Her steadfast faith in God and deep spirituality were a rock that our family depended on in good times and difficult times. She was a strong independent Texas woman and proud to be so. Her heart was as big as Texas.
On January 9, 2009 Debroah Dousay from "That! Texas Magazine" published an article about The Carmen Nelson Bostick Cemetery which had become Mom's passion.Typical Mom, she didn't want to stop mowing to talk to Deborah.
I know she is in Heaven with Jesus and my dad Billy and Granny. Her favorite song was "I can Only Imagine. Today I can only imagine what she is experiencing in Heaven, however one day I will know when I go to the place that Jesus has prepared for me.
I cry earth tears for her, but my spirit is at peace.
