In Memory of
Stephanie Leann Kistler
-

Stephanie Leann Kistler passed away Monday, April 12th.  She was born in Russellville, Arkansas, on February 10th, 1968, to Eddie and Mattie Kitchens.  Stephanie attended Texas Christian University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Education and was an active member of Kappa Delta Sorority.  After graduating, she taught middle school and high school in the Dallas area, impacting the lives of many students that continued to reach out to her throughout her life.  She then worked as a school administrator before beginning a career as an educational consultant where she was able to change the future of children though school improvement throughout Texas.  During her time as an educational consultant, she completed her Master of Education at West Texas A&M.

She is known to her family and friends as Sweet Stephanie, and her faith, love, kindness, generosity, wisdom, courage, and humor inspired and endeared her to everyone she met.  She had a heart for loving God, family, friends, and neighbors, and particularly for children and the homeless for whom she acted as the hands and feet of Jesus, leading summer lunch programs for children, ministering to the homeless, and serving as a faithful member of Grace Fellowship Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Aaron Kistler, son Andrew Kistler and daughter-in-law Laura Kistler, parents Eddie and Mattie Kitchens, sister Kelly Kitchens and brother-in-law Jim Gall.

A service in remembrance will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 19th at Grace Fellowship Church, Original Campus, in Katy, Texas.  An inurnment ceremony will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Fort Worth on Wednesday, April 21st at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to HopeImpacts.org in Stephanie’s name.

We lost a sweet, sweet soul on Monday, April 12th. What a blessing Stephanie was to all who knew and loved her. She has no doubt left a big hole in many hearts, but let us take comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain and in the arms of our Lord and Savior whom she loves so very much. Her strong faith, courage, and selfless actions right up to the very end is a true testament to what it means to walk in faith. She didn't just talk the talk, she walked the walk. She followed closely in the footsteps of Jesus.

My sincere condolences and prayers go out to her family, her friends, and fellow KD sisters. We already miss you sweet Stephanie. KD love and AOT, Evelyn. ❤️🙏🏻

I didn't know Stephanie, but my daughter Veronica asked me to pray for her. They graduated the same year at Boswell High school. Stephanie was a very special woman , full of the Lord's spirit, and a very sweet and nice and kind person to everyone, as Veronica told me. Please accept our sincere sympathy in the loss of Stephanie. I know she is with the Lord!

I had the chance to work alongside Stephanie while she worked as a Coaching Facilitator for school transformation work in Houston ISD. Her expertise, impact, intelligence, and warm personality were such a blessing. She truly made such impact with her life and her work. I am so sorry to learn of her passing this afternoon.
