Stephanie Leann Kistler passed away Monday, April 12th. She was born in Russellville, Arkansas, on February 10th, 1968, to Eddie and Mattie Kitchens. Stephanie attended Texas Christian University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Education and was an active member of Kappa Delta Sorority. After graduating, she taught middle school and high school in the Dallas area, impacting the lives of many students that continued to reach out to her throughout her life. She then worked as a school administrator before beginning a career as an educational consultant where she was able to change the future of children though school improvement throughout Texas. During her time as an educational consultant, she completed her Master of Education at West Texas A&M.
She is known to her family and friends as Sweet Stephanie, and her faith, love, kindness, generosity, wisdom, courage, and humor inspired and endeared her to everyone she met. She had a heart for loving God, family, friends, and neighbors, and particularly for children and the homeless for whom she acted as the hands and feet of Jesus, leading summer lunch programs for children, ministering to the homeless, and serving as a faithful member of Grace Fellowship Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Aaron Kistler, son Andrew Kistler and daughter-in-law Laura Kistler, parents Eddie and Mattie Kitchens, sister Kelly Kitchens and brother-in-law Jim Gall.
A service in remembrance will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 19th at Grace Fellowship Church, Original Campus, in Katy, Texas. An inurnment ceremony will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Fort Worth on Wednesday, April 21st at 3 p.m.
