Barbara was born in New Orleans, Louisiana but lived the majority of her life in Houston, Texas. At age 90, Barbara passed away peacefully at home on October 26, 2023 after a long battle with dementia. Barbara is survived by her husband, Ernest Bradley, Daughters Karen Moore (Stephen Moore), Michelle Henderson (Scott Henderson), Grandchildren Matthew Moore, Cody Henderson and Brandon Henderson and Great Grandchildren, Cash Moore, Liam Henderson and Everett Moore.
Barbara stayed home to raise her girls and then began to educate herself on holistic and spiritual healing. She and daddy enjoyed their getaway in Rockport, Texas where she loved to watch sunsets over the water, spend summers with her grandkids, and to build community with those near. She loved large family gatherings, particularly holidays, where she shared stories of her life experiences and world travels. No holiday was complete without singing and dancing to Big Band music or a bit of that New Orleans Jazz.
She loved to travel the world as a spiritual seeker, a lifelong healer, and as one who spread compassionate understanding and love to all people. She touched many people’s lives throughout her wondrous life.
Barbara will always be loved for living life to its fullest.
