She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charley & Lora Fay Jackson, sister Floy Cooper husband Walter Cooper; husband, Stanley Edward Kaliszewski, and son Bubba Kaliszewski.

Charlena’s passion was her family, decorating for all the holidays, her friends and playing bingo.  She was a retired outside commercial photography saleswoman who led a team in the Houston and surrounding areas selling large photographic equipment. She rose to the top of her field, receiving many rewards.

Our family thanks all those friends who have offered their love and prayers.  We invite you to join us in a celebration of life to be held Saturday January 4th at 12:00 noon at Christian Family Church. 5615 Queenston Blvd. Houston, TX 77084.  Pastor Chuck Kaliszewski will be officiating.

My dear cousin meant so much to me over so many years. Helping me try to take care of my mother, Charlie was pretty much my second mother. Staying with me by phone when our Phil was dying and at so many difficult times, her wonderful humor kept me vertical. She is now and ever will be sorely missed by my children and me.

Charlena was a friend and neighbor, we took care of eachother and our pets when we traveled. We spent a lot of time together, that is something I have missed. We kept each other grounded, even as the tides of life shifted. We had fun together, never a dull moment.
She has left me with a treasure chest of memories and laughter.
Friends like her are forever, you might lose them but you'll never forget them. May she rest in peace. ❤️
