HOUSTON, TX – Denae Colleen Criss, 67, passed away quickly and quietly on May 14, 2024.
She is survived by her sister Dona Kae (Criss) Terry, brother Charles Gordon Criss and wife Linda, nephew Henry Edward Criss III, and sister-in-law Debbie Criss.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Edward Criss, Sr. and Willie-Dee (Harper) Criss, her brother Henry Edward Criss, Jr., and her husband Dennis Dankert.
Denae grew up in Texas City, Texas, and attended Texas City High School. She was in the choir and served as an elder at the First Christian Church in Texas City. She worked as a union electrician and had retired from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union 716, after 42 years.
She had a sweet and kind spirit, and her soul is soaring now. She is free.
