Franco Bahizi peacefully joined God and his angels on November 16, 2024, at the age of 58, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. He was born on May 4, 1966, in Goma, Congo, to the late Marcel and Leoncia Bahizi. Franco made his home in Dallas in his early 20s, later moving to Fort Wayne, and finally residing in Houston, Texas, in 2020. Franco leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, unwavering resilience, and an unshakeable devotion to God. He was deeply proud of his efforts in establishing Restoration Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana and Logos Rhema Christian ministries in Houston, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcel and Leoncia Bahizi; siblings Paul and Claude Bahizi; and grandparents Lucia and Paul Bahizi and Otto and Marguerite Rusingizandekwe. Franco is survived by his dedicated wife, Mado Bahizi; his loving children Moraa, Fabrice, Bianca, and Mimita Bahizi; and his adoring siblings Pierre, Didier, Otto, Martine, Liliane and Joesph Bahizi.
A viewing will be held at Beresford Funeral Home, 10 am on December 6, 2024 at 13501 Alief Clodine Rd 77082 in Houston, Texas followed by a funeral service led by Pastor John. Gravesite and burial services will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Pearland, Texas. We will join in fellowship for a planned repast at 3:00 p.m on December 6th 2024 at Logos Rhema Ministries Chapel at 16205 Westheimer Rd Suite 400, Houston, Texas 77082. A second celebration of Franco's life will be held on December 14, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Restoration Church for loved ones and close friends in Indiana at 4900 Old Maysville Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. Flowers may be sent to Logos Rhema Ministries at above provided address and monetary donations can be kindly given to Mado Bahizi.

Franco was dearly loved by both Bob and myself. He touched the hearts of all that were fortunate to know him.
Unfortunately we cannot be at the funeral because of the distance but are praying for all the family and extended family at this sad time.
