With hearts full of gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we celebrate the homegoing of Jacquelyn M. Randall, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, caregiver, and pillar of the Liberian community. On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, after a courageous and grace-filled battle with uterine cancer, Jacquelyn entered peacefully into eternal rest, surrounded by the love of her family. Though cancer touched her body, it never diminished her spirit. Throughout her journey, she remained remarkably strong, unwavering in faith, and beautiful inside and out. Today, we find comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering and has been welcomed into the loving presence of her Lord and Savior.

Jacquelyn was born on November 2, 1964, in Monrovia, Montserrado County, Liberia, to Bubba Randall and Martha Juah Randall. She was raised in a family deeply rooted in love, faith, culture, and community—values that would shape the woman she became and the legacy she leaves behind.
She attended B. W. Harris Episcopal High School in Monrovia, Liberia, graduating with the Class of 1985, before continuing her education at Lincoln College of Professional Studies. Her desire to serve others led her into a career in healthcare, where she worked faithfully as a Psychiatric Technician for more than 30 years.

To Jacquelyn, caring for people was never simply a profession—it was her calling. She cared for her patients with extraordinary compassion, dignity, and respect. She often used her own resources to provide clothing, shoes, and other necessities for those in need, believing that everyone deserved kindness and to be treated with dignity. Her patients, colleagues, and friends knew her as someone who listened without judgment, encouraged without hesitation, and loved without condition. The relationships she built throughout her career endured for decades, a testament to the genuine care she showed every person she encountered

Beyond her profession, Jacquelyn possessed a gift for bringing people together. She was a proud and active member of the Liberian community, always willing to lend her time, talents, and support wherever they were needed. Whether planning community events, celebrating milestones, or simply opening her home and heart to others, she made everyone feel welcome. She was a trusted confidant, a loyal friend, and a steadfast source of strength for countless people.

Family was the center of Jacquelyn's world. She was a devoted mother whose greatest joy was seeing her children flourish. She was immensely proud of Stacy Dema Randall, Alexis Dunbar, and Nickielia Martin, and her love for them was unconditional and unwavering. As a grandmother to Evan Nava, Noah Adams, and Zara Nava, she found immeasurable happiness. She treasured every holiday, family gathering, vacation, and everyday moment they shared, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.
Jacquelyn also shared an extraordinary bond with her sisters. Their relationship was built on unwavering love, laughter, loyalty, and mutual support. She stood by her family through every season of life, celebrating their joys, comforting them through hardships, and reminding each of them that they would never face life's challenges alone.

Those who knew Jacquelyn will forever remember her elegance and vibrant spirit. She loved fashion and always carried herself with grace and confidence. She enjoyed decorating, cooking meals that brought family and friends together, traveling the world—including unforgettable trips to Australia—and creating beautiful spaces filled with warmth and love. She believed that life's special moments deserved to be celebrated and that beauty could be found in both grand occasions and everyday acts of kindness.

More than anything, Jacquelyn will be remembered for her generous heart. She gave freely of her time, her resources, her wisdom, and her love. She fiercely protected those she cared for and never hesitated to stand beside a friend or family member in need. She lived a life marked by compassion, generosity, strength, and unwavering devotion to others.
Jacquelyn was welcomed into Heaven by her beloved parents, Bubba Randall and Martha Juah Randall, and her beloved niece, Tiffany Townsend.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving children, Stacy Dema Randall, Alexis Dunbar, and Nickielia Martin; her treasured grandchildren, Evan Nava, Noah Adams, and Zara Nava; her beloved siblings, Julia Randall-Townsend, Markahn Randall-Saleh, and Fatu Macintosh; her cherished nieces and nephews, Mydea Abaneme, Dyxee Randall-Weh, Kamel Saleh, Aaliyah Saleh, Iman Saleh, and Amir Saleh; along with the extended Randall, Barchue, and Kineboh families, the Bassa Association of Greater Houston, numerous Liberian organizations, lifelong friends, colleagues, and countless individuals whose lives were forever enriched by her love.

Although our hearts grieve her absence, we rejoice in the extraordinary life she lived. Jacquelyn taught us that true beauty is found in compassion, that generosity is measured not by what we possess but by what we willingly give, and that love is life's greatest legacy. Her gentle spirit, radiant smile, unwavering strength, and boundless kindness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her race is finished. Her work is complete. Her legacy lives on—in every life she touched, every heart she encouraged, every family she united, and every act of kindness inspired by her remarkable example.

Funeral services begin on Friday, August 7, 2026 at the Memorial Church of Christ (900 Echo Ln, Houston, TX 77024) with visitation/viewing from 6pm to 9pm.  On Saturday, August 8, 2026 the viewing will begin at 10:00 am at The Church Without Walls (7500 Eldridge Pkwy, Houston, TX 77083), followed by the funeral at 11:00 am.   The burial will follow at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery (1101 Antoine Rd., Houston, TX 77055), followed by the repast at Sterling Banquet Facilities (5475 W Sam Houston Pkwy N, Houston, TX 77041).
