Jane Walda Stewart, 74, was born to James Walter Griffin & Virginia Ann Caldwell Griffin on February 3, 1948 in Columbia, Tennessee. She was called home on September 12, 2022.
Our mother was a strong and loving mother, grandmother, wife, aunt, and friend. She touched the lives of many, and she will be loved and remembered forever.
She is survived by her 3 children, James Edward Huff, Wendy Marie Adams (Huff) & husband Alfred L. Adams, Jr., and Christopher Allen Huff; her sister, Sara Dunning; grandchildren, Alfred L. Adams, III & wife Michelle, Weston S. Adams & wife Abby, Samantha M. Adams & husband Trevor, Thomas Munguia, Anne Marie Huff, Michael Sean Huff, Nicholas Huff, and Alexander Huff; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Walter Griffin & Virginia Ann Griffin; her husband, Harry D. Stewart; grandson, Zachary James Huff; and a niece, Amber Dunning Roberts.
Services will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service. Visitation begins at 10 and the funeral at 12:30. Burial will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park (14659 East Freeway, Houston, Texas 77015)
