Joseph Michael “Casper” Epperley, resident of Houston, Texas passed from this life on July 18, 2024 peacefully at home after a brief illness. He was born on June 23, 1956 in Beckley, West Virginia to Amos and Nellie Epperley. He leaves behind to cherish a lifetime of memories, his brother, Charles Edward Epperley and two children - John Hobstetter and Heather Worthington (Cris Aguilar) along with his many friends and family members.

“Mike” was the owner of a motorcycle repair shop and was an expert at repairing and restoring motorcycles for many customers, including police officers and bike enthusiasts from all walks of life. He enjoyed working on motorcycles which made his work a joy. He was very conscientious and would not let a motorcycle go out of his shop unless it was safe to ride, which was his top priority. He was also a very caring man who would help anyone that needed it and enjoyed teaching others about motorcycles.

The family would like to thank Peter Taylor and his family for the friendship and the support that he and his family have provided throughout the years.

A memorial will be held to celebrate “Mike’s” life on Friday, August 16th at from 1pm to 3pm in the Beresford Funeral Home Chapel, 13501 Alief Clodine, Houston, TX 77082.

Hands down the greatest, kindest and most loving human I have ever been privileged to be around. I am truly, so lucky to have been able to be a part of your wonderful, crazy and fun life. You are unarguably the best dad and person I could have ever asked to be in my life, thank you! You will RIDE FOREVER, not just with me, but the many others you have impacted throughout your life. I Love You.

Casper always has a back seat when some of us didn't have a way to go on some of the many rides we took.

He let me borrowed his truck for months and months and months when I totalled my car coming back from a rally in Louisiana. He never asked for it back, even when it was pouring down rain outside and all he has was his bike. I do hope he was able to find a ride during those times.

We had many good times with Mike and we'll never forget him. I'm so sorry for y'all's loss. I lost my dad a couple of months ago. They are cured of their ailments and no longer suffering. GBNF Casper
