Julienne Kayembe Mbuyi, 73, passed away suddenly in Thornton, Colorado while visiting family. She was born in Congo on June 30, 1950.
She is survived by her children, Tony Kayembe, Jean Claude Kalonji, Olga Kalonji, Calvin Lukusa Kalonji, Rolly Kayembe Kalonji, and Herve Kalonji; and her grandchildren, Faith Lukusa, Jael Lukusa, Olvie Lukusa, Mctony Kayembe, McKenzie Kayembe, Keren Kayembe, Kyle Kayembe, TrevineTubene, Kayliana Kayembe, Claudana Kalonji, Nyla Kalonji, Raissa Kalonji, Ivan Kalonji, John Kalonji, Nathalie Kalonji, and Nathan Kalonji.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Godefroid Kalonji.
Visitation will be Friday, January 19, 2024 from 5 PM to 9 PM in the chapel of Beresford Funeral Service. Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (6646 Addicks Satsuma Rd, Houston, Texas 77084). Burial will follow at Carmen Nelson Bostick Historic Cemetery (12317 Holderrieth Rd., Tomball, TX 77375) at 1 PM.
