Nyal became a Christ follower in his early adult years. He pursued his passion for Christ by becoming a Deacon at Second Baptist Church at the Woodway campus. He attended the College of Biblical Studies and continued his discipleship for Christ through Men’s Prison Ministry locally in Houston. Nyal went on to serve Christ as a Youth Minister at Holy Cross Episcopal Church and as Associate pastor at Life Church.
He found great joy and passion in connecting with middle school and high school students and leading them on their path to a personal relationship with Christ. Nyal’s fondest memories included the many mission trips to Guatemala and surrounding areas

He found great joy and passion in connecting with middle school and high school students and leading them on their path to a personal relationship with Christ. Nyal’s fondest memories included the many mission trips to Guatemala and surrounding areas
where he helped build clinics , schools and accessibility to clean water. During his tenure, many young lives were influenced and positively impacted by his leadership. Nyal truly felt this chapter of his life was one of the most important in demonstrating his love for the Lord and faith in Jesus Christ by shining through his family and friends as a servant. Nyal navigated through seasons of change in his career and home life as he continued to walk by faith, sharing the gospel to co-workers, new acquaintances, and anyone who crossed his path. Nyal prioritized his leadership role within the home by studying the Bible daily and walking with his wife, Linda, in pursuit of a closer relationship with Christ.
