Bob Eden peacefully passed away on September 10, 2010 in Pearland, Texas. He was born on June 21, 1927 in Kimball, Nebraska to Walter and Lillian Albrecht Eden. Bob graduated in 1950 from the University of Colorado at Boulder, married his college sweetheart and served in the U.S. Army before moving to Houston. He was a Civil Engineer for Shell Oil for 37 years, spending most of his
career at the Deer Park Refinery while raising his family in Pasadena. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joye Laverne Hilty Eden; children Cindy Eden Campbell, Robert Michael Eden and wife Laura, Elizabeth Eden Kasper and husband Tim, all of Texas; a sister Virginia Eden Wadleigh of Cheyenne, Wyoming; grandchildren Allison, Hannah and Colson Eden, Kyra and Kellen Kasper; nieces and nephews Janet Levesque, Lori and Pat Nichols, Michelle and Kelsey Brackeen, Megan and Brian Nichols. Pastor Bob Phillips will officiate a celebration of Bob's life at 1:30 PM on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Park Place Baptist Church in Houston, with visitation at the church for two hours prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Park Place Baptist Church, 4101 Broadway, Houston, 77087
