Teri Beth (Debenport) Matthews, 56, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2019. She was born in Houston, Texas on May 12, 1962, to Beth and Ken Debenport.
Besides helping anyone in anyway that she could, Teri volunteered in the Foundry children’s church and youth programs. She worked in the television industry for most of her adult life. She was currently employed by KIAH CW channel 39, where she has worked at for the past 21 years.
Teri is preceded in death by her father, Ken Debenport. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Michael Matthews; daughter, Marissa Matthews; mother, Beth Debenport; brother, Gary Debenport; sisters-in law Michelle Osgood and husband Darren, Karen Miller and husband Bill; brother-in-law Kevin Smith and wife Krista, Scott Williams and wife Jennifer; nieces and nephews Tyler Osgood, Cooper Osgood, Gabrielle Wood, Jeffrey Cagle, Christian Cagle, McKenzie Miller, Kody Smith, Kyle Smith, Kalyn Smith, Kade Smith; and a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday May 4th at Foundry United Methodist Church- Jones Road.
