In Memory of
William "Bill" Robert Onorato
-

William, “Bill”, Robert Onorato, aged 57, passed away peacefully on December 24th, 2022, at Memorial Hermann Hospital. Bill was diagnosed with Stage 4 melanoma in February 2022 and courageously did everything within his power to courageously battle this aggressive disease. Bill is now at peace with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Bill was born August 29th, 1965, to Frank and Janet Onorato in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the second of five children. His family moved to Houston, Texas in 1976 where he graduated from Tomball High School in 1984. He studied business/commerce at Sam Houston University and the University of Houston. Bill started Triton Overseas Transport in 1994 and successfully grew the company to be the second largest exporter out of the Gulf of Mexico. He also started Terra Trucking in 1996 and sold it in 1998. Bill then started OTI Logistics in 2016 which specialized in shipping and transport logistics.

In 1996, Bill met and married the love of his life, Angela. Together, they were blessed with four wonderful children; Paige, Brooke and twin boys, Robert and Mark. He and Angela created a beautiful and loving family as anyone who ever met them can attest. His family was his greatest source of pride. Bill was an amazing father who put is heart and soul into caring for his wife and children. He was deeply committed, fiercely loyal and fully present for his children. One of his greatest joys was coaching each of his children on various softball, baseball and basketball teams.  He loved hunting and fishing and sharing this passion with his children. Bill loved to work out and even competed  in a body building competition. He was very disciplined and dedicated to taking good care of his body and his health. Bill was a deeply spiritual man and was passionate in his pursuit of faith and his love of God.  Bill will be remembered for his generous, kind hearted and loving spirit and for his deep love and unwavering loyalty to his family and his friends.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Angela, his four children; Paige, Brooke, Robert and Mark, his mother, Janet Onorato, his sister, Terry, McBride, his brothers Richard and wife, Candace, John and wife Joy and Michael as well as 15 nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Frank Onorato and his brother-in-law, Robert McBride.

There will be a Celebration of life service for Bill on Friday, January 6th at 11am at First Baptist Church, 7401 Katy Freeway, with a reception to follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, please refer to the “Ways to Help” page on the Caring Bridge site.
