William Henry Alexander, 97, passed away on February 24, 2026 in Houston, Texas. He was born on September 26, 1928 in Crowley, Louisiana.
He proudly and faithfully served the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, attaining the rank of 1st Lieutenant.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 72 years, Beatrice; sons, Bill & wife Erin, Stan & wife Kristen, Dave & wife Micki; grandchildren, Shannon, Chris, Kelley, Matt, Dave Jr, Jennifer, & Ty; and 10 Great-Grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his grandson, Michael.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church (3131 El Dorado Blvd, Houston, TX 77059). Visitation begins at 9:00 AM, Praying the Rosary will begin at 9:30 AM, and the Mass will begin at 10:00 AM. After a short reception, the burial will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery (7801 Gulf Fwy, Dickinson, TX 77539), with Military Funeral Honors provided by the United Staes Army at 12:45 PM.
