I was very young when Ed visited us in Ireland, he made a huge impression on me and all of us across the Atlantic. Ed was charming, genuine and kind, he will be sorely missed from our world.

I wish all of his friends and family our deepest love and heartfelt sympathy.

Ed built the bridge between the Syracuse Mahars and the Irish Mahers in the 90s and started a friendship that continue through or family. I was blessed that he was able to attend my wedding in 2007 and entertained us all at that time. We have very fond memories thanks to Ed. To Michael and Ian, Bill and Maureen and all extended family, Angela, Jack, James, Dylan and I extend our deepest sympathies .
