Ernest Albert Herzing

ERNEST ALBERT HERZING, 86, born July 4, 1921 in Del Rio, TX, passed away on Sept. 12, 2007. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 65 years, Yvonne Andrade Herzing of Cypress; daughter Judith Ann Gore of Pearland, son Steven E. Herzing and wife Candy of Houston, son Michael Herzing and wife Cyndi of Cypress; Grandchildren, Carlton Lee Gore, Jr. and wife Christine, Thomas Christopher Gore and wife Jerri, Timothy James Gore and wife Joann, Heath Lambright, Joshua Herzing, Travis Herzing and Natalie Rose Herzing; Great-grandchildren, Jake Gore, Courtney Michelle Gore, Kelsey Danielle Gore, Hannah Elizabeth Gore, and Lane Lambright. He attended Texas A&M, and proudly served the U.S. Army Air Force as a pilot in the European Campaign during WWII. He achieved rank of Major and awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was also a Master Mason, Cypress Masonic Lodge #1323. Visitation will be held Monday, 9/17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Beresford Funeral Home, 13501 Alief-Clodine 281/933-9090.
