John Francis Witzeman "Stats" passed away on March 10, 2017 to be with Jesus.
John was born February 15th, 1939 and was the son of Adolph and Rita Witzeman of LaSalle- Peru, Illinois.
John attended St. Bede’s Academy and Western, Illinois before moving and settling in Houston where he managed Molly’s Westcrest Pub for over 30 plus years in addition to his second love as statistician for the Houston Rockets during the 80’s and 90’s.
John’s love for sports, The Chicago Cubs, forte and one liners earned him the nickname “Stats”.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Sandra, sister Joanne Cinotto, daughters Wendy Hosto, Dawn Hedin and Debra Lindley along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of life which will be held on April 29, 2017 at Molly's from 1 to 6 p.m. The family asks that donations be made to The American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
