Karen was the beloved wife of Richard Pennington and mother of Summer Lynn Dyches. She was predeceased by her father, Walter Tucker. Survived by mother, Donna Tucker, Delaware, Ohio; sister, Amy Kester (Jim, Alexa), Woodland, CA; extended family, and a host of friends.
Karen moved to Houston from Ohio in the early 80's and began working for Continental Airlines. Her love of travel sent her all over the world. Thirteen years ago she began a second career as a registered Massage Therapist. Somehow, she found time to make candles, soaps, and stained glass windchimes which she shared with family and friends.
We will especially remember Karen for her infectious laugh, her fresh enthusiasm for life, her love of nature, her horse Sassy, and all creatures great and small.
Celebration of Life, June 2, 1:00 p.m. at Tallowood Baptist Church, 555 Tallowood Drive.
