Leonidas Spyridon Klonis was born October 20th, 1931 in Kefalonia, Greece. He was a bachelor and the youngest of 9 children. He is survived by his eldest brother Gus Klonis and his wife Helen of Houston, his sister Constantina Kosmetatou , his sister-in law Betty Klonis residing in Greece, and Kiki Klonis residing in New Mexico.
He has many nieces and nephews as well residing in Houston, Chicago, New Mexico and Greece. He went to school in Greece but loved learning. He enjoyed history, learning languages, poetry and sketching. He immigrated to the United States in the 1950’s and was proud to become an American Citizen. In the 1960’s he worked with his brothers in the restaurant business. He will always be remembered for his wit and humor. He made many friends throughout his life and cherished them. He slept in the Lord on January 17th, 2015.
