I'm sending my love and positive thoughts to my all-time favorite teacher during her sad time. I never knew, Mrs. Letlow, that your daughter and I have the same middle name; in Spanish, a person who shares your name is your "tocante" - one who touches you. How dear it is that the lady who taught me how to teach with my natural sense of humor has once again "touched" me with a coincidence of names. I'm so sorry for your loss; please try to take some comfort in knowing that there are lots of us "Letlow Alumni" that were shaped by your love, laughter, and academic challenge.

I was so sad to hear about Missy. She was my best friend when I started highschool. I had so much fun with her and really looked up to her. She had the greatest smile and laugh. I have thought of her often over the years since I moved out of state and hope you find comfort in all the joy she brought to the people in her life.

Love,
Stephanie

I was very sad to hear about Missy today. I think of her and your family often. I remember Missy starting middle school with us and boy was she a instant success with her blond hair and big smile she became everyones friend. She was contagious. We all wanted her swimmers tan, so she taught us how to use a sun lamp. We fried our faces many times on that at your house Mrs Letlow. I have so many fond memories of girls night out at the Letlow house.
The world lost a beautiful lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Mrs. Letlow.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this trying time. The Letlow family was positive influence in my life, and many others, during my elementary years. I will never forget those beautiful, bright smiles that came so easily to Casey and Missy and my teacher. May God be with you.

Jim and I were so saddened to hear of Missy's death. It's been a long time since we saw her but we still have good memories of the swim meets at the Dads Club and all over the State. They were wonderful times. Our sincere condolences are with you.

I'm so sorry you've lost your lovely daughter, Billie. Not that I had the privilege of knowing her. She was already out of NHS and in college or perhap flying when I first came to Spring Woods to teach in the 1980's. Blessings on you. Surely it must have been hard for you in these years of Missy's sickness.

My heartflelt prayers are with you all as you grieve the loss of your precious daughter and sister.

Praise be to God that this is just so long for now. Missy is well and healthy and more alive than ever in the presence of her Heavenly Father. She has heard the words we all long to hear, "Well done good and faithful servant!"

Missy's faith has now been given sight. Cling to that promise and hope as you face the difficult days, weeks, months, and years ahead. God is with you and His grace IS sufficient.

May His Holy Spirit hold you and comfort you.
God bless you all!
Roxanne

Dear Bubba, Mrs. Letlow and Casey,

Words cannot begin to tell you the sorrow I feel. Although it has been several years since we have seen each other or even talked, I think of the years I spent growing up with your family.

All of you had a profound impact on my life! From the morning pancakes on the weekends to swimming and football to being punched in the arm by a little blonde dynamite of a girl! I think I was more afraid of Missy hitting me than I was of most guys!!! What a lucky boy I was growing up and spending so much time with all of you!

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you, always!

Jeb

My thoughts, hopes and prayers go out for Missy,
her family, and friends.

I can remember her as the beautiful girl with the sweet smile standing by the lockers at school between classes, just like it was yesterday.

Her smile made everyone smile too.

My apology for the delay in paying my respects,
I only just heard.
