Mildred James Wallace, 78, native of Beaumont, died Wednesday, January 10, 2007 in Houston, TX after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude H. Wallace. Millie is survived by a son Claude H. Wallace, Jr. and wife Donna; and a daughter, Anita Wallace Stegemoller and husband Darryl. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Danielle Wallace Cantrell, Ryan Hamilton Wallace, Zachary Hunter Wallace, Christina Ruth Stegemoller, and Regina Elizabeth Stegemoller; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2007 starting at 10 a.m. with service to follow at noon at the Foundry United Methodist Church, 8350 Jones Rd, Houston, TX 77065. A graveside service will be held in Old Gooch Cemetery in Mason, TX on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 11 a.m. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.

It has been so long since I have sen you. I just wanted to let you know that your mom was one of the nicest ladies I ever knew. She was a wonderful friend to my mom, and always had a smile for me.
I am so sorry for your loss. My Mother, Geraldine Rumfola, also died from Parkinson's Disease on December 13th. I hope your memories will sustain you as you grieve.
